Adjusting throttle

The TRL600/1500 blowers can be supplied with an ad-
justing throttle at the inlet of sucked air. The adjusting
throttle keeps the pressure of supplied air unaltered
despite of volume variations in feedback pipelines .
Therefore the constant airflow with the velocity of ca.
25 m/s is maintained that matches a number of sys-
tems for pneumatic transportation of materials. It is
why blowers with adjusting throttle perfectly suit ap-
plications where pneumatic transportation of materials
is required.
Blowers with the adjusting throttle at the sucking inlet
can be delivered in two options, depending on the
pipeline system that are dedicated to collaborate with,
i.e. Kongskilde OK160 (ø160 mm) or OK200 (ø200
mm).

Preparation for operation

The blower is delivered with three different sucking
systems:
Type 1: OK160 (ø160 mm) with the adjusting throttle
Type 2: OK200 (ø200 mm) with the adjusting throttle
Type 3: without the adjusting throttle
Install the relevant sucking system as shown on the
drawings keeping in mind to position the adjusting
throttle as shown in the picture.
