Abdomen
1. Lie down on the fl oor on your back, and place the
article crossways beneath your coccyx.
2. Place your arms out at the sides on the fl oor, hold
your legs at a 90° angle and lift up.
3. Slowly pull your thighs up towards your chest and
push them back again. As you do this, use your
hands to maintain balance on the article and tense
your abdominal muscles.
Oblique Abdominal Muscles
1. Place the article on the fl oor lengthways and sit on
it.
2. Place your legs bent at an angle and the width of
your hips apart. Hold your arms in front of your rib
cage.
3. Twist your upper body alternately to the left and
right. As you do this, use your legs to maintain bal-
ance and tense your abdomen.
Chest
1. Lie down on the fl oor on your back, and place the
article lengthways beneath your spine.
2. Bend your legs and push your buttocks up slightly
so that the back forms a straight line. Place your
arms at a right angle next to your head. Drop your
head.
3. Lift the bent arms over your face and then place
them back down on the fl oor.
Shoulders / Back
1. Lie down on the fl oor on your back, and place the
article crossways beneath your shoulders.
2. Bend your legs and push your buttocks up slightly
so that the back forms a straight line. Cross your
arms in front of your chest. Keep your neck straight.
3. Roll back and forth gently on the article.
Lateral Torso
1. Lie down on the fl oor on your side, and place the
article crossways beneath your thoracic vertebrae.
2. Stretch out your lower arm. Stretch out your lower
leg, bend your upper leg and place it behind your
lower leg. Gently support yourself with your upper
arm.
3. Roll back and forth gently on the article.
