Caution! This form of massage is only benefi cial to health if important rules are
followed:
It is not about doing a few exercises quickly, but about using the article reg-
ularly over a long period of time.
• Each of the exercises should be repeated several times. Consider taking
short breaks between the exercises.
• If you hit a "sore" spot, you should stop this movement and rest on the spot
until the pain diminishes. If the pain persists, stop using the article and con-
sult a doctor.

Calves
1. Sit on the fl oor, place the article crossways beneath
one calf, and bend the other leg.
2. Support yourself with your hands behind your back
and gently heave yourself up.
3. Roll back and forth gently with your calf on the roll-
er.
Thighs
1. Lie down on the fl oor on your stomach, and place
the article crossways beneath your thighs.
2. Support yourself with your elbows and heave your-
self up.
3. Roll back and forth gently on the article. Tense your
stomach and back as you do this.
Lumbar Region
1. Lie down on the fl oor on your side, and place the
article crossways beneath your upper thigh.
2. Support yourself on the fl oor with your elbow and
heave yourself up. Your legs should hover gently
above the fl oor as you do this.
3. Move your upper leg up and down. Tense your
stomach and back as you do this.
Hips
1. Lie down on the fl oor on your side, and place the
article crossways beneath your hips.
2. Support yourself with your arm stretched out, bend
your upper leg and place it in front of your lower
leg.
3. Roll back and forth gently on the article.
