Instructions for installation and usage

Do not use the instrument in potentially explosive atmospheres. Do
not operate it in the presence of flammable anesthetics and volatile
solvents such as alcohol, benzine or similar agents.
Temperature range for intended use: +10 ... +35 °C.
Clean optical components only externally and in accordance with the
instructions given in this manual.
The instrument may be modified and repaired only by our service or
other authorized persons. The manufacturer is not liable for damages
caused by unauthorized tampering of the equipment. Such
tampering will also forfeit any rights to claim under warranty.
Warning
Never look into the sun through the binocular tube and eyepieces.
Warning
Let the bulb cool down before changing.
In the vicinity of the system, do not use any mobile phones and other
instruments that do not comply with EMC Class B, because their
signals may cause malfunction of the equipment. The effects of radio
signals on medical instruments depend on various factors and are
therefore unpredictable. To avoid electromagnetic disturbances, the
system has to be installed and started up in accordance with the
operating instructions exclusively using the components delivered by
Carl Zeiss Meditec.
