Secure the parallel stop by tightening

When not using the parallel stop, tighten
the fastening screws (11) securely. The
screws can be unscrewed and fall off
due to the vibration of sawing.

a. Do not point the laser beam at persons
or animals and do not look into the
laser beam. This laser emits a laser
beam that falls under laser class 2 in
accordance with EN 60825-1:2014. You
could blind people with it.
b. A laser is not a toy and does not
belong in the hands of children. Using
it incorrectly may result in irreparable
damage to the eyes.
c. It is forbidden to manipulate the laser
so as to increase its power in any way.
No liability will be assumed for any
damages caused as the result of fail-
ure to comply with these safety
instructions.
d. The laser does not contain any ser-
viceable parts. Therefore, do not open
the housing. Otherwise, you will ren-
der the warranty void.
e. Warning! Do not swap the laser with
another type of laser. Only the manu-
facturer of the laser or an authorised
representative may perform repairs.
f.
Do not point the laser beam towards
highly reflective surfaces.
g. Do not insert any hard objects in the
laser optics.
h. Clean the laser optics with a soft, dry
cloth.

18. Using the laser

The beam line of the laser is available to
assist in making straight cuts. You can
either cut along the projected line or point
the laser beam at a fixed point on the work
piece and then cut.
To switch the laser on, push the On/Off

To switch the laser off, push the On/Off

switch (13) for the laser again.

19. Tips for cutting

• Clamp the workpiece. Use a clamping
device for small workpieces.
• Draw a line to define the direction in
which to guide the saw blade.
• Firmly hold the machine by the grip.
• Set the sawing speed.
• Set the mitre angle.
• Set the pendulum position.
• Switch on the machine.
• Wait until the machine has reached full
speed.
• Place the saw shoe on the workpiece.
• Slowly move the machine along the
pre-drawn line, firmly pressing the saw
shoe against the workpiece.
• Do not apply too much pressure on the
machine. Let the machine do the work.
• Switch off the machine and wait for the
machine to come to a complete stand-
still before putting the machine down.

20. Cleaning and maintenance

• To avoid injury always pull the power
plug before maintaining or cleaning the
machine.
• Clean the machine with a moist cloth.
• If the machine is very dirty use a mild
detergent or soap on the cloth. Other
cleaning agents may contain chemical
substances which may damage the
plastic parts of the machine.
• Do not allow liquids to enter the
machine and do not immerse the
machine in liquids of any kind.
• Repairs, inspections of the interior of
the machine, adjustments and replace-
ment of the carbon brushes may only
be undertaken by a professional. Only
identical replacement parts may be

• Always keep the ventilation slots (5)
open and clean. After each use remove
dirt and contaminations with a brush or
blow it out with compressed air.
