damaged;
- it has been seriously knocked;
- there are evident leaks of the pumped liquid.
In these cases have the motor pump and the machine incorporating it checked by a Specialist
Technician.
• Have a Specialist Technician carry out all the checks laid down for extraordinary maintenance.
• Wear personal protective clothing and devices to guarantee suitable protection from any high pressure
spray or the chemical products used.
Carry out the preliminary activities described in the manual of the machine incorporating the motor
pump.
CAUTION
• When using in very low temperatures, make sure that there is no ice in the motor pump or the pipes.
CHECKS AND CONNECTING THE POWER LINE
WARNING
• Also follow the instructions contained in the manual of the machine incorporating the motor
pump.
• A Specialist Technician must check that the electrical supply to the motor pump is fitted with a
suitable fuse and conforms to the data given on the plate (7): in particular the supply voltage must
not vary by more than ± 5% and the supply source must be of suitable power.
• If the power cable is too short, an extension lead of maximum 5 m/16 ft with a conductor section of
at least 2.5 mm may be used.

• In the connections, respect the polarities indicated on the pump.
• WARNING. When using an extension lead with plug and socket, these must be watertight and
immersion proof.
• WARNING. Unsuitable extension leads can constitute a hazard.
WARNINGS ON THE PUMPED CHEMICALS
WARNING
• Also follow the instructions contained in the manual of the machine incorporating the motor
pump.
• Store chemical products in a well aired place with a locked door. The products must not be stored
within reach of children and other people not involved in the working operations. Place a hazard sign
outside the store.
• Read the instructions and safety warnings on the chemical product packages in order to take the
necessary action to avoid creating hazards for yourself or the environment. In particular, do not
exceed the maximum recommended concentrations, prepare only the amount of product needed
and avoid spilling onto the ground or into water sources.
• In the event of contact with the eyes, wash immediately with water, in the event of ingestion do not
induce vomiting but consult a doctor immediately, taking the detergent package with you. Do not
inhale any gases that may develop.
• Always wear appropriate protective clothing and keep children and people not involved in the works
or in any case not suitably protected out of the way. Do not drink, eat or smoke.
• At the end of the operations, wash your hands and face carefully.
• Wash all clothing that has come into contact with the chemicals carefully. Any contaminated element
must be washed immediately.
• Chemical product containers must be disposed of at separated waste collection centres and in any
