MOTOR PUMP IDENTIFICATION PLATE
WARNING
• If during use the identification plate becomes worn or damaged, contact the Manufacturer or a
Specialist Technician for repair or a new one.
The identification plate (7) shows the model of the motor pump, the serial number, the year of construction
and the main electrical and mechanical features (max. flow rate, max. pressure, supply voltage, absorption,
etc.). This is located on the motor pump body.
SAFETY DEVICES
a) Pressure switch.
This is a device, suitably calibrated by the Manufacturer, which limits the maximum working pressure and
prevents excessive hazardous pressure when the delivery is closed or when you attempt to set pressure
values that are higher than those permitted.
WARNING
• The pressure switch is calibrated by the motor pump Manufacturer. Never tamper with it or attempt
to alter the calibration.
• With motor pump versions that are not fitted with a pressure switch, the Manufacturer of the machine
incorporating the motor pump shall install an appropriate safety valve (i.e. a maximum pressure valve,
suitably calibrated, that discharges any excess pressure in the event of a fault in the high pressure
circuit) or another device that limits the maximum pressure: if the safety valve or other device cuts
in repeatedly, stop the use of the machine incorporating the motor pump and have it checked by a
Specialist Technician.
b) Thermal switch.
This is a device which stops the motor pump in the event that the electric motor overheats.
If it cuts in, proceed as follows, following the instructions given in the machine manual incorporating
the motor pump:
• stop the machine and disconnect the power supply;
• drain any residual pressure from the high pressure circuit;
• wait 10÷15 minutes, to allow the motor pump to cool down;
• check that the instructions given in paragraph "c
with;
• connect the power supply and repeat the starting procedure.
WARNING
• If it cuts in repeatedly, do not use the motor pump (or the machine incorporating it) without first having
it checked by a Specialist Technician.
