Signal input monitoring
The switching amplifiers can be supplied with a device for
monitoring the signal inputs.
This monitoring device consits of the red LED display LED3.
It signals a short circuit and/or a break in the signal input lines.
The statuses of the LED3, output contacts A1 and A2 and
LED1 and LED2 are given in Table 4 for a short or open-circuit
in relation to normal operation.
In order to make the input circuit monitor active, place the
configuration switch marked "
right

Note: With switch amplifiers acting together with (mechanical)
contacts in the control circuit, these contacts must be
preceded by resistors: one parallel resistor of 10 to 15 kΩ,
one series resistor of 1 to 2 kΩ (see Fig. 7).
