6.3 Changing the filter bag

Replace the filter bag when the suction power
decreases and/or when heavily soiled, regardless
whether the vacuum cleaner bag has been re-
placed. Please refer to Chapter 6.1 – Maintenance
and servicing/general.
Proceed as follows:
Unlatch the locking clips of the dust container lid
and open the machine at the parting line of the
dust container lid (2a. – see page *8*).
Pull the vacuum cleaner bag without the filter
bag out of the machine (17a. and 17b. – see page
*20*).
Pull the used filter bag out of the machine (18a. –
see page *22*).
Insert the new filter bag axially into the machine
(18b. – see page *22*).
Insert the vacuum cleaner bag axially into the
filter bag. Make sure that the edges fit evenly and
tightly (3a. and 3b. – see page *9*).
Put the dust container lid on carefully (4a. and 4b.
– see page *10*).
Close the locking clips of the dust container lid
(4b. and 4c. – see page *10* and *11*).

6.4 Changing the inlet filter

Replace the inlet filter when the suction power
decreases and/or when heavily soiled, regardless
whether the vacuum cleaner bag has been re-
placed. Please refer to Chapter 6.1 – Maintenance
and servicing/general.
Proceed as follows:
Unlatch the locking clips of the motor housing and
open the machine at the parting line to the motor
(19a. and 19b. – see page *23*).
Remove the used inlet filter from the round recess
of the open housing (19c. – see page *24*).
Insert the new inlet filter in the housing (19d. – see
page *24*).
Put the dust container carefully on the motor
housing and close the locking clips (19e. – see
page *24*).

6.5 Changing the exhaust filter

Replace the exhaust filter when the suction power
decreases and/or when heavily soiled, regardless
whether the vacuum cleaner bag has been re-
placed. Please refer to Chapter 6.1 – Maintenance
and servicing/general.
Proceed as follows:
Loosen and remove the exhaust filter grille of the
motor housing by pressing the snap-in hook (20a.
– see page *25*).
Remove the used exhaust filter from the retaining
claws of the exhaust air filter grille (20b. – see
page *25*).
Insert the new exhaust air filter between the
retaining claws (20c. – see page *25*).
Click the exhaust filter grille into the motor housing
(20d. – see page *25*).

7. Troubleshooting
