● The EALT 6 increases the connection
value of the EAT 6 G/1 or EAT 6 TG
controller by a further 6 A to 12 A. When
connecting a further EALT 6, the overall
connection value is increased to 18 A.
The connection of more than 2
power modules is only permitted
after consulting with Maico.
● The control of the EALT 6 takes places
proportional to the EAT 6 output voltage
via the 0...10 V output.
Temperature limit value switch-off
Jumper [12] serves to switch the temperature
limit value switch-off in the controller
(EAT 6 G/1, EAT 6 TG) and in the power
modules (EALT 6) on and off. Select the
same setting in both units.
● In case of a temperature limit value
switch-off = On (factory setting)
If the temperature falls below the setpoint
temperature set on the controller, the fans
connected to EAT 6 and EALT 6 are
switched off.
● In case of a temperature limit value
switch-off = Off
If the temperature falls below the setpoint
temperature set on the controller, the fans
continue to run at the lowest speed.
If the MIN setting on the controller is
higher than that of the power module, the
setting of the EAT 6 is also valid for fans
connected to the EALT 6.
If the MIN setting on the controller is lower
than that of the power module, the setting
of the EALT 6 is valid for fans connected
to it. Thereby the supply air fan and
exhaust fan, for example, can be
separately controlled.
