1. Safety instructions

Read these mounting and
operating instructions carefully
before mounting and
commissioning the unit for the
first time.
Follow the instructions. Hand
these instructions to the owner
for safe-keeping, once final
assembly is complete.
In general, also read the
mounting and operating
instructions of the EAT 6 G/1
or EAT 6 TG device.
This fan unit can be used by
children aged 8 and above, and
by people with reduced
physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or by persons with
insufficient experience or
knowledge provided they are
supervised by a person
responsible for their safety, or
they have been instructed about
the safe operation of the unit
and can understand the
resulting risks thereof.
Children must not play with the
unit. Cleaning must not be
carried out by children without
supervision.

1.1 Intended use

The EALT 6 electronic power
module serves to increase the
permitted maximum load of the
EAT 6 G/1 or EAT 6 TG
temperature controller by 6 A.
An additional motor (fan) can be
controlled independently from
the controller in the automatic
MANUAL operating mode.

1.2 Predictable misuse

Improper use can be
dangerous, cause damages and
is not permitted. Do not ever
use the unit:
● Close to flammable materials,
liquids or gases.
● In explosive atmospheres.
● Outdoors.
● Maico is not liable for dama-
ges caused by improper use
(use other than intended use).
