1.Intended use and non-intended use
-Brush cutters and grass trimmers
Intended use:
Brush cutters (with metal blade) is intended only for cutting strong grass; strong weeds as well
as light wood up to a diameter of max. 10mm determines.
Grass trimmers (with nylon cutting head) is intended only for cutting grass and/or light weeds
Non intended use:
This two type of cutting attachment is not intend to cutting hedges or the like for which the
cutting head need to be raised as a must.
Other materials like e.g. except this should not be processed. Remainder dangers the
machine works with a rotary cutting tool.
- Pole mounted chain saws
Intended use:
This pole mounted chains saws is only designed for cutting branches up to a diameter
according to the guide bar length. It is only allowed to cut wood. Every other use of the
machine is a not intended us.
During the use of the pruner the user has to arrange for personal protective equipment
according to the manual and also to the named pictograms on the product.
Non intended use:
The pruner is not intended to be forest use.
- Long reach hedge trimmers
Intend use:
The hedge trimmer designed for use by one operator for trimming hedges and bushes,
utilizing one or more linear reciprocating cutter blades. Potential risk may occur if the hedge
trimmer not for such use
improper handling of the hedge trimmer not for such intended use will increase possible
personal injury from the cutter blades.
Non intended use:
The hedge trimmers not intended for forest use.

2. General Safety Instructions:

with all controls and the proper use of the machine.
Observe the instructions shown below carefully to guarantee the high degree of safety.

To be safe at working with this multiple garden tools, it is required that instructions and information on safety,
installation and operation contained in this manual are precisely observed. Any person engaged in the operation
or maintenance of the machine should be familiar with this operation manual and aware of any potential risk.
Prevent children, the sick and infirm from access. While you are in the working area, look after the children very
carefully. Observe any regional and local safety precautions applicable in your place. The same applies to any
provisions on the safety at work and health protection in the work site.
Warning! It is necessary to observe the essential safety precautions when using the machine tools. Kindly
follow the tips and instructions in the additional safety precautions.
Pay attention to the conditions of the area, which you're working in. After the engine is started, the machine
will produce poisonous flue gas. The gas may be invisible and odorless. Hence never work with the machine
closed or poorly ventilated areas. Provide for good lighting when cutting. Make sure you are stand steadily when
working in wet, snow or icy weather conditions on slopes or rough ground.
Do not let any unauthorized persons approach/use the machine. The visitors and viewers, primarily the
children, the ill and infirm persons should not have any access to the working area and use the tools.
Make provision for the tools storage. The machines not in current use (or cleaned after servicing) should be
kept in a dry place, elevated or locked where practicable and make sure any unauthorized access is prevented.
Always use a correct/suitable tool for the work to be done. E.g. avoid using brush cutters to be used as a
hedge trimmer. Use the tools only for the purposes they were designed for.
Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery which can be caught in moving parts.
Use personal protection equipment (PPE). Wear safety shoes with steel toes/ steel or rough sole
Wear goggles. Protect your eyes from thrown objecs.
Wear ear protectors. Wear personal protective equipment to protect your ears, such as ear protectors
Hand protection. Wear hard gloves – gloves of leather give a good protection
Brush cutter operation. Never work with the cutting tool without protection guard.
Be attentive always. Do not use the tool when tired. Never work with the tool when influenced by alcohol, drugs
or medicaments affecting the concentration capability
Time of Use and Breaks for Rest. After using the power machine for a longer time, you may have troubles with
the capillary return in hands. However, you may prolong the time of use when wearing suitable gloves and taking
regular breaks. Remember that the time of using the power machine may get shorter in result of personal
inclination to poor capillary return, low outside temperature or strong contact force of the machine while working,
do not use the tool more than 1 hour continuously (not recommended using the tool in early morning or late night
when people might be disturbed)
Watch out for any damaged parts. Inspect the machine before use. Are any parts damaged? Ask yourself
seriously when detecting slight damage whether the machine will work perfectly and safely despite that. Watch
out for proper aligning and adjustment of any moving parts. Do the parts fit one in another properly? Are the part
damaged? Is everything installed as appropriate? Are any other prerequisites of proper working in place?
Damaged protective devices etc. must be repaired or replaced by authorised entities unless the operation
manual expressly say otherwise. Any defective switches must be replaced at an authorised servicing centre. Do
not use the machine if it cannot be put on and off with the switch. When repairs are necessary, kindly turn to your
local servicing centre.
While operating the machine be always sure of a safe and secure operating position especially when using steps
or a ladder
Be aware that national regulation can restrict the use of the pole mounted pruner and hedge trimmer.
Do not attempt to repair the machine unless you are qualified to do so;
Do not operate the machine with a damaged or excessively worn cutting device
To reduce fire hazard keep engine and silence free of debris, leaves, or excessive lubricant
Always ensure all handles and guards are fitted when using the machine. Never attempt to use and incomplete
machine or one fitted with and unauthorized modification;
Always use two hands to operate the tools
When transporting or storing the machine always fit the cutting device guard
Always be aware of your surroundings and stay alert for possible hazards that you may not hear due to the noise
