• Measure the nebulisation time with 2.5 ml isotonic sodium chloride solu-
tion (0.9%) without inhaling.
• If nebulisation takes longer than 4 minutes, cleaning
with the easycare cleaning aid is recommended.
Frequency of use
If needed, no more than 2 times weekly after inhalation and after cleaning
the aerosol head (see cleaning steps below).
Note:
More frequent use is not beneficial, but can lead to premature material
wear.
During its entire period of use, an aerosol head should not be back-
washed more than 25 times with the easycare cleaning aid.
The easycare cleaning aid does not extend the life cycle of the aerosol
head.
Backwash liquid
- 5 ml isotonic sodium chloride solution (0.9%)
- 5 ml distilled water
- 5 ml deionized purified water
Cleaning steps
The easycare backwashing procedure is performed as an additional meas-
ure for the normal cleaning of the aerosol head.
When carrying out easycare backwashing, the cleaning steps
must be performed in the following order:
1. Cleaning the nebuliser parts and the aerosol head*
2. Backwashing the aerosol head with easycare
3. Disinfecting the nebuliser parts and the aerosol head*
