1.5 Operator requirements

The safe use of the machine places few demands on operating per-
sonnel. These must, however, be observed and maintained as a mat-
ter of course.
• The operator has experience in dealing with the animals being
shorn.
• The operator has read and understood the operating instructions,
or has been indoctrinated into the operation of the machine by a
skilled person, and the risks and dangers have been pointed out to
him.
