1. Extend the Iegs (17), as indicated in Fig. 1 and lock them in the adjusted height with
the supplied wing-nut (18).
2. Connect all three tripod Iegs to the tripod head (15) with the wingnut and screw (19)
in the manner indicated in Fig. 2a.
3. Secure the centre braces to the three tripod Iegs with screws and nuts. The
accessory rack can then be screwed into the thread in the middle of the centre
braces.
4. After all screws have been firmly tightened, the telescope can be connected to the
yoke (13) of the tripod head. Proceed as indicated in Fig. 2b.
Mount the telescope main body (8) in the yoke (13), and adjust with the large locking
screw (11). Now adjust the pin of the adjustable altitude control (1) with the guide
provided for this purpose see Fig. 2d and 2c.
5. Remove the finderscope (7) with its bracket (6) from the box. Then remove the two
knurled thumbscrews from the telescope tube (8). Position the finderscope bracket
on the telescope main body so that the holes in the base of the bracket line up with
the exposed holes in the telescope main body. Reattach the two knurled thumb
screws and tighten them securely (Fig. 4).
6. Insert the angle prism (4) into the focusing tube (3). Secure by untightening the
corresponding fastening screws (Fig. 5).
7. Insert the eyepiece (5) into the angle prism (4). This also has to be adjusted with the
small fastening screw (Fig. 6).
8. If you wish to use the prismatic eyepiece extension with the factor 1.5x, insert this
between eyepiece (5) and the focusing tube (3) (Fig. 7).
The following magnification values are achieved when using the prismatic eyepiece
extensions and the exchangeable eyepieces: (see next page)
