Wireless rain gauge
• When it starts to rain the rain drop symbol begins to flash. If there is no precipitation for 30 minutes, the drops are no longer dis-
played.
• The rainfall amount is shown on a corresponding cylinder graph with 10 segments. The current scale (rainfall amount with filled
cylinder = 100 %) appears to the left of the graph. If the display range of the rainfall for the graph is exceeded, the scale changes in
25.4 mm (1 inch) steps. The cylinder diagram can represent a rainfall amount of up to 1270 mm (50 inches). If the rainfall exceeds
1270 mm, the cylinder will be displayed as completely filled.

Wireless rain gauge
• Avoid being close to possible sources of interference that may affect radio reception. It is recommended to keep a distance of at
least 2 metres to possibly interfering sources (TV, computer, microwave, wireless phones, baby monitors) and large metal objects
(e.g. refrigerator). Within solid walls, especially ones with metal parts, the transmission range can be reduced considerably. In
extreme cases, please place the unit close to a window to improve reception.
• Do not use the base station in the vicinity of radiators, other sources of heat or in direct sunlight.
12. Mounting the rain and temperature transmitter
• Before the final installation, make sure that the measured values are transmitted from the transmitter at the desired installation site
to the base station.
• Also make sure that the transmitter is easily accessible for cleaning and maintenance. The transmitter should be cleaned from time
to time, since dirt and debris will affect the sensor's accuracy. The funnel should be routinely cleaned and freed from leaves and dirt.
• Place the transmitter horizontally in an area where rain can fall directly into the container, ideally 60 to 90 cm above the ground on a
small platform. If necessary, use the integrated water level.
• You can tighten the transmitter in the desired position with the two screws provided.
13. Battery replacement
• As soon as the corresponding battery symbol appears in the display, please change the batteries of the base station or transmitter.
• Please note: When the batteries are changed, the contact between the outdoor transmitter and the base station must be restored –
so always restart all devices or start a manual transmitter search (see "Outdoor values reception").
