5. PROGRAMMING AND SETTINGS
5.1
O P E R A T I N G P R O G R A M M I N G ( f i g . 2 2 )
Two types of functioning logic are available. These are set
on the unit using jumper JP1:
• Step-by-step functioning (JP1 open).
• Automatic functioning (JP1 closed).
5.1.A STEP-BY-STEP FUNCTIONING (JP1 open)
• The sequence of movements caused by repeated START
commands is as follows:
open
STOP
close
• Movement is stopped when the limit switch is triggered.
5.1.B AUTOMATIC FUNCTIONING (JP1 closed)
• Pressing the START command causes the door to open up
to the limit switch.
The door closes automatically when
the programmed PAUSE TIME expires.
5.2
PROGRAMMING THE PAUSE TIME
The PAUSE TIME is the period between conclusion of
opening and the start of closing. This time must be
programmed for automatic functioning.
5.2.1 PAUSE TIME (fig.23)
• Check that the jumper JP1 is inserted.
• Press button P1. Warning light DL1 is switched ON.
• Wait for the required PAUSE TIME and then press P1
again. Warning light DL1 is switched OFF and programming
is complete.
5.2.2 CONDOMINIUM MODE PAUSE TIME (fig.24)
This function inhibits reception of remote control commands
during opening to prevent more than 1 command being
transmitted by users at any given time. Commands are
however accepted during closing.
• Insert jumper JP1.
• Press button P1.
Warning light DL1 is switched ON.
• Remove jumper JP1.
• Wait for the required PAUSE TIME and then press P1.
Warning light DL1 is switched OFF. The procedure is
complete.
• Insert jumper JP1 to enable automatic functioning in
CONDOMINIUM MODE.
5.3
OBSTACLE DETECTION SETTING
Thanks to the AMPEROSTOP device the operator detects
the presence of obstacles during opening and closing and
then responds automatically.
- During OPENING detection of an obstacle causes the
immediate stop of movement.
- During CLOSING detection of an obstacle causes the
immediate stop of movement and then complete opening.
note: if automatic functioning is set then the door closes
when the pause time has elapsed.
• Use the trimmer TR1 to adjust the intervention level of the
AMPEROSTOP device (fi g.25).
Note: during opening the intervention level is 25%
greater than during closing.
