INSTALLATION and START UP
For products delivered with filters, these must be installed in accordance with the instructions.
Before commissioning any of our valves, it is essential to carefully bleed the pipes that can damage the mechanisms or water passages (PRESTO® heads that can be
dismantled from front). Recommended operating pressure according to NF EN 816: 1 to 5 bar.
CLEANING
The chrome-plated coating of PRESTO® valves must be cleaned only with soapy water. Abrasive, acid, alkaline or ammonia-based household products are prohibited.

29) PRESTO electronic WC flush valve offers both automatic and manual operation
30) Manual mode:
- Pressing the manual control triggers a 6 litres flush. - When the user leaves, the automatic mechanism is disabled, so the flush is not activated.
31) Automatic mode (if manual push mode is not used)
After 15 seconds' presence, the system is activated. The flush is triggered 2s after the end of user detection. If the presence time is less than 60s, the system automatically
triggers a 6l flush. If it is in excess of 60s, the system triggers a standard flush (6l or 9l depending on the selected programme).
32) Automatic flush: A 6l automatic flush is carried out every 72 hours.

Volume selection: Depends on bowl used
Range selection: The standard range provides proper operation for most installations.
However, in highly reflective or confined spaces, the short range option may be required to prevent reflection from doors or walls disrupting proper operation of the product.
34) 60-second water flow shutoff to allow maintenance

36) Holding the reflector in front of the cell causes the valve to flash slowly and shuts off water flow – it then starts flashing quickly (at which point the reflector should be
withdrawn).
The number of flashes emitted by the tap corresponds to the number of the active programme.

40) Each time the reflector is passed in front of the cell, the LED lights up and the programme no. is increased by one step. (1,2,3,4, 1,2,3,4, 1,2,3,4, etc.), confirmed by a number
of flashes corresponding to the new programme.
If the reflector is not presented again, the LED emits 5 series of flashes corresponding to the new programme no. and the valve returns to service.
During the first minute after powering on, or during the 60-second shutoff, or during programme changes, the central LED lights up during detection enabling the user to see
how far the detection range extends
