Power-on reset
After power-on, minus signs are displayed in all digits in order to signalize that the
unit is ready for operation. In case of an interfacing without DS the display instantly
corresponds with the data on the data inputs.
If a display test is preselected in menu item F, it will run beforehand.
Auxiliary voltage source
The units supply terminal P with an auxiliary voltage galvanically isolated from the
power supply, which can serve as H signal (24 V ± 20%, max. 50 mA, reference
potential = M).
Character set
In menu item 3 you can select between a numerical character set (0...9 and special
characters) and a hexadecimal character set (0...9, A...F).
