3. Safety distances
Firewall
Ensure that the minimum safety distances are fullfiled
(FIG 1).
When connecting a steel chimney to the top outlet use
the security distances required by the manufacturer.
Important! When placing the insert on
a combustible floor, a steel plate of at least
0.7mm must cover the entire floor surface inside
the surround. Any flooring made of combustible
material, such as linoleum, carpets etc. must be
removed from underneath the steel plate.
The insert expands when in use, and for
this reason the surround must NEVER rest
on the insert, but have a gap of about 3 mm.
The insert must neither rest on the bench plate or
against the sides. It is recommended to dry stack
the surround in order to adjust the insert prior
to perforating the chimney for the flue connection.
4. Assembly
Assembling the front legs FIG 3
The insert is delivered with adjustable legs. The legs
are mounted on the insert using the bolts and washers
provided – fasten as shown in the drawing.
Assembling the rear bracket leg FIG 4
The bracket, rear leg is also adjustable. Assemble the
leg to the body using the bolts and washers provided .
Attention! Front legs are shorter by approximately
50mm. Place spacers under the front legs when the
insert is going to be put into an upright position
– FIG 4b.
Air inlet - FIG 5
Assemble the air inlet as shown in the drawing.
Fasten it with a screw using a torx key provided.
Rear flue gas connection FIG 6
A chimney adapter is set in a rear chimney connection
position. If you want to utilize the rear chimney connec-

Top flue gas connection FIG 6b
To utilize the top flue gas connection follow the steps
below:
1. Unscrew fastening bolts using the tools provided.
2. Turn around the chimney adapter as shown on
the drawing.
3. Screw in the bolts to the body.
4. Place a rod in the socket to stop a chimney sweeper
ball.

FIG 3 - to FIG 7
The insert expands when in use, and for this reason
the surround must NEVER rest on the insert, but
must have a gap of about 3 mm.
Neither may the insert rest on the bench plate nor
against the sides. It is recommended to dry stackthe
surround in order to adjust the insert, prior to perfo-

Attention! Our inserts are prepared for connection
of the smoke pipe on the outside of the flue collar
Ø150.
Assembling Front Heat Shield FIG 7
1. Assemble the front cover by bending its sides as
shown in the drawings FIG 7A & FIG 7B.

The insert is equipped with a handle, which is intended
for operating air vents, opening and closing doors etc.-
see FIG 8-FIG 8C.
