If you are not using a tamper switch be sure to short the tamper inputs by connecting a wire between
the two "TAMPER" terminals.
5] CONNECTING AC POWER
A 15A AC power source with a dedicated breaker and an isolated ground is recommended.
Connect a 16VAC, 40VA (minimum) transformer to the CAA480A's "AC" terminals
and mount it near the cabinet. Refer to Figure 3.

Do not power up the CAA480A Elevator Controller until all connections and the CAA480A
settings are completed.
