Caution:
Pregnant women and persons with implanted
devices such as pacemakers must not use
these scales.
Important:
To get a correct measurement, make sure
that your feet, calves and thighs do not
touch each other. Step on the scales with
bare feet only.
Entering your personal data
To compute the percentage of body fat, body
water, muscle mass, bone mass and the
BMI, you must enter some personal data first.
The scales provide 10 User Profiles for
personal data such as age, height, gender
and mode (athlete yes/no).
Note:
If you don't press a button for approx.
15 seconds during the programming, the
scales automatically switch off. Press and
hold the navigation buttons ◄ ► to advance
at a faster speed.
■ Place the scales on a firm, level surface.
■ Press the SET button.
The User Profile Number flashes.
(Figure D).
■ Press the SET button to confirm or use
the navigation buttons ◄ ► to select
another User Profile and confirm it by
pressing the SET button.
The F symbol (Female) flashes.
■ Use the navigation buttons ◄ ► to select
the correct gender M (Male) or F (Female).
■ Press the SET button.
The age number AGE flashes.
■ Use the navigation buttons ◄ ► to select
the correct age (for example, 44).
■ Press the SET button.
The height number
■ Use the navigation buttons ◄ ► to select
the correct height (for example, 173).
■ Press the SET button.

The indicator NO for athlete mode
flashes.
■ Use the navigation buttons ◄ ► to select
athlete YES or NO.
■ Press the SET button.
The settings you just made are each
displayed for 2 seconds. The display
shows 0.0 kg.
■ Step on the scales and stand still while
the display flickers. The scales store your
weight.
The User Profile Number appears in the
top left corner of the display along with the
weight. After a few seconds, the display
shows the value for your BMI. The scales
switch off automatically after a few seconds.
To program additional User Profiles, repeat
the steps under Entering your personal
data.
Note:
Previously used User Profiles can be over
written at any time with new data.
Please make the following setting to reset
already occupied storage space:
Age = 10 years and body size = 100 cm.
The automatic people detection for these
users is consequently deleted.
Measuring your weight and
starting an analysis
To measure your weight as well as your BMI
and the percentages of body fat, body water,
muscle mass and bone mass (Figure E).
Caution:

devices such as pacemakers must not use

Important:
The scales automatically calibrate when
switched off. To ensure a correct reading,
do not move the scales after switching off.
