• Hold the drill sharpener straight
under the foot press (74) of the
drill head and guide carefully up-
wards using the pressure of the
foot press until the bit insert (73)
sharpens the bit.
The pressure must not be too
strong otherwise the drill gets too
hot (starts to blue) which means
that the bit gets soft. On the other
hand plainly recognisable turnings
should appear as a result.
• If necessary, remove burrs with
the sharpening stone (75).
20.4 Possible malfunctions
• Machine does not function: Elec-
tricity plug plugged in? Main
switch switched on?
• Machines for single phase alter-
nating
The spindle motor is fitted with a
circuit breaker (33) which pre-
vents burning out the motor.
When overloaded wait for 2 min-
utes then press again.
