our paper drilling machine. With the
purchase of this quality product you
have made a good choice.
Please read these user instructions
carefully before using the machine
and follow the security rules.
The numbers in brackets in the text
relate to the diagrams.

13 Safety rules

• Only carry out repairs with original
NAGEL spare parts.
• Only carry out repairs after dis-
connecting from the mains elec-
tricity supply.
• Repairs and work upon electric
appliances may only be carried
out by trained technicians.
• Removal of safety equipment and
casing and operation with dam-
age that affects safety is forbid-
den (e.g. damaged electricity ca-
ble, covering).
• Use the machine exclusively to
drill paper and cardboard.
• Only drill with safety guard (hand
protection) installed.
• Do not reach into the area of the
drill as long as the drilling stroke
is in motion.
• Lay out the electricity cable in
such a way that it does not form
any kinks.
• Work place of the operator: in
front of the machine.
• Erect the machine only in a dry
room.

14 Installation

• Together with a strong person, lift
the machine out of the packing.
Use the provided cross bars. At-
tention! Never use the sliding ta-
ble to lift the machine from the
pallet. Place the machine on a
solid and level surface.
