16.3 Hole pattern selection

The sliding table offers two ways to
select a hole pattern.
• A pre programmed hex-bar with
6 pre defined hole patterns.
These patterns are selectable by
pushing the stop button (28) in-
wards. The patterns are shown
on the table. They are selectable
by the turning knob (29). It is im-
portant that the distance shown
on table (30) and the drill head
distance match. In the case of
the CB 290 it might be necessary
30
to remove a drill.
• A free programmable stop bar.
The hole pattern is defined by
setting stop set collars (31) on
the stop bar. It is possible to use
additional stop set collars. Push
unnecessary set stop collars to
the right or left end of the stop
bar.

An example of the material to be
drilled which has been either pre-
holed or marked is laid on the slid-
ing table. Then it is pushed so that
the drill spindle (the left one with 2
spindle models) is over the hole that
is to be drilled first. With 1 spindle
models this is the 1
spindle models the 2
the right edge of the paper. This po-
sition is fixed by pushing a stop set
collar (31) from the left against the
stop button (28) and screwing it se-
curely.
