14.2 Features of three-phase cur-
rent models
• When switching on the machine
for the first time check the correct
direction of rotation of the drill
motor. The drill spindles have to
turn in the direction of the arrow
(15). If this is not the case, any
two phases must be exchanged
in the mains electricity plug.
However, never change or disas-
semble the neutral wire terminal
(labelled with "N" in the electricity
plug) and the green-yellow earth
wire. An additional symptom of
an incorrect sense of rotation is a
permanently
motor.

The motor power rating of the indi-
vidual Citoborma models allows use
of drills with the following diameters:

Important!
Because of the danger of breaking,
paper drills have different usable
lengths according to diameter. The
usable length of drills with a diame-
ter of 2-4 mm is the shortest. These
drills can be ordered with a normal
or extended shaft as desired.
For drills with a normal shaft, an ap-
proximately 3 cm thick underlay
(e.g. wooden board) must be laid
under the material to be drilled be-
fore adjusting the drill depth.
Inserting the drill:
• Push the drill into the chuck (19)
as far as the stop.
• Hold the drill spindle with the fork
spanner (16) and secure the un-
ion nut (17) with the face spanner
(18).
