ADVANCED PROGRAMMING
Some of the operator functions can be customised by
modifying the operating parameters. The parameters that can
be programmed are the following (values in Table 4).
= functioning logic type.
The functioning logic is described in par. 7.3.
= pause time, i.e. the time which elapses before the
automation starts to automatically closing the wing (on
logic types with this function). The time is set from 0 to 45
seconds (in 5-second increments).
= delay in gate closing: time elapses between start of
closure of wing 2 and wing 1. The time is set in 4-second
increments.
Note: there is always a minimum opening delay of 3 seconds.
= Wing travel speed.
Note: When this parameter is modifi ed, the system will stop
and display will show a fl ashing S to indicate that the self-teach
procedure must be repeated (par. 6.3).
= pre-flashing function; reverse stroke; photocell
paused.
WARNING: disable the pre-fl ashing function if the fl ashing
light is not used. You must enable the reverse stroke if the
electro lock is installed.
= short inversion functions at the end of a movement
and selection of the 6-J1 terminal function: opening safety
(NC) or pedestrian start (NO).
Pedestrian start or Opening safety: to control the partial
closing of one or two wings for 2 seconds; after which the
wing stops.
= sensitivity to detecting obstacles (push force).
Program as follows (example in fi g.25):
CAUTION! To start programming, proceed as follows:
ensure that the gate is CLOSED and STOPPED (it may
be necessary operate the mechanical release to close the
gate - see par. 8.2).
Note: During programming external signals are ignored.
Press and hold down the RED button (confi rm) until the
letter P appears on the display. Release the button: the
first letter that identifies the programmable parameters
will appear.
All the parameters may be scrolled through using the
BLUE button (scroll).
The RED button (confi rm) lets you see the current value
entered (indicated by a bright spot).
To leave this function and return to normal operation,
press the YELLOW button.
To scroll through the available values, use the BLUE
(scroll) button.
If you decide not to change anything
(exit).
This will return you to the display of letters and parameters.
To modify,
press RED (confi rm) for 3 seconds. When the
value required is displayed,
with 3 flashes) and then leave programming to return to
normal operation.
CAUTION! When the S (speed) parameter is changed, you must
perform the self-teach procedure again: To do this, press and hold
down the YELLOW button (exit) and BLUE button (scroll) together for a
few seconds (see par. 6.3).
