Faults
Error
Water temperature is cold.
Water temperature too low.
Note!
Unlock the temperature limiter only after the fault has been eliminated.
See see chapter 7.1 "Unlocking the temperature limiter" on page 14 for unlocking the temperature limiter.
Note!
Electrical testing, maintenance and repair work and the elimination of faults must be performed by a trained electrician.
7.1
Unlocking the temperature limiter
DANGER
Risk of serious injury or death due to electric shock.
If live parts are touched, there is risk of life-threatening injuries.
•
Ensure that the system is voltage-free before installing the device.
•
Ensure that the system is secured and cannot be reactivated by other persons.
•
Ensure that installation work for the electric connection of the device is carried out by an electrician, and in compliance with electrical
engineering regulations.
ATTENTION
Device damage from overheating
Too high temperatures when heating the DHW can result in device damage due to overheating. The integrated temperature limiter switches the
heating off at a temperature of 120 °C with a tolerance of 8 °C.
•
Do not change this pre-set switch-off temperature.
The temperature limiter was triggered by a fault. Unlock the temperature limiter only after the fault has been eliminated. Unlock the limiter at the device
protective cover.
Proceed as follows:
1.
Disconnect the device from electrical power sources.
2.
Secure the device against unintended reactivation.
3.
Undo the housing screws.
4.
Remove the housing.
5.
Verify that the connection is voltage-free.
6.
Unlock the temperature limit by the pressing in the plastic knob on the top side.
–
An audible switching sound confirms successful unlocking.
7.
Re-secure the housing with the screws.
8.
Reactivate the power supply.
The temperature limiter is now unlocked.
Note!
Unlocking is possible after cooling of the temperature sensor by about 10 °C.
