Personnel requirements

The electric connections and the wiring of the device must be executed by a trained electrician in accordance with all applicable national and local
regulations.

Personal protective equipment

Use the prescribed personal protective equipment as required (e.g. ear protection, eye protection, safety shoes, helmet, protective clothing, protective
gloves) when working at the system in which the device is installed. Information on personal protective equipment requirements is set out in the relevant
national regulations of the respective country of operation.

Intended use

The device is solely used for heating drinking water in a sealed storage tank made from metal.
Note!
Ensure the quality of the drinking water as specified by national regulations.

Impermissible operating conditions

The device is not suitable for the following applications:
• Use with water hardness value > 14 °dH (German hardness).
• Heating of water with corrosive content (such as acids or alkaline solutions).
• Use with mineral oils.
• Use with flammable media.
Note!
Insufficient water quality due to high lime content or contamination will reduce the device service life.

Description of the device

The device is used for heating domestic hot water (DHW) in a sealed storage tank made from metal. A regulator realised in the form of a rotary control is
used to set the required temperature for the DHW. The DHW temperature should be 60 °C. It is labelled by a marking on the rotary control.
An integrated temperature limiter prevents overheating by shutting down the device if the maximum temperature is reached.
• 4-25 kW: Maximum temperature 120 °C
• 35 kW: Maximum temperature 110 °C

The nameplate provides information on manufacturer, year of manufacture, part number and technical data. The nameplate is attached to the device
housing.
3.2

Scope of delivery

Immediately after receipt of the goods, please check the shipment for completeness and damage. Please notify us immediately of any transport damage.
