The multimeter has 3 measuring jacks:
The lower COM jack is the common (-) jack for all
measurements. Here the black cable is plugged in.
The centre VΩmA jack is the common (+) jack for all
measurements except for current measurements
above 200 mA. Here the red measuring cable is plug-
ged in.
For current measurements of more than 200 mA the
red cable must be plugged into the upper 10ADC
jack.
Attention High Voltage!
With this multimeter voltages hazardous to life can be
measured.
•
At first connect the multimeter with the measuring
points and then switch on the circuit to be tested.
•
Watch that capacitors may still be charged!
•
Watch that the measuring cables are perfectly
insulated and that the cables are fully plugged into
the measuring jacks!
