Operating Instructions
The FlexiRoll can be operated in two modes (Front Panel or Remote Digital Controller):
Front Panel Operation
1. The FlexiRoll is activated by pressing the up arrow key to the desired speed in
RPM. The lowest setting is .5 RPM and it will increase in .1 RPM increments until
reaching 1 RPM. (There is no independent on / off key).
2. The speed of the FlexiRoll will be displayed in the LED panel on the front of the
unit.
3. Pressing the down arrow key will reduce the speed of the unit, and is also used
to turn the unit off by depressing the key to 0, the digits will flash 5 times before
powering off.
Or to immediately shut off the unit, press the up and down keys simultaneously until
the digital display powers off.
Remote Digital Controller Operation
In applications where the FlexiRoll is used inside an incubator,
you may wish to use the remote digital controller. This allows
the operator to control the time and speed of the FlexiRoll.
Note: When utilizing the remote digital controller, the LED
display on the unit will not operate.
1. Insert remote digital controller cable to the socket located
next to the power supply.
2. Depress "set" key once to activate time setting. The
flashing digit can be adjusted by depressing the up or
down key. To move the cursor to next digit, press the
left arrow. This will allow you to set the time up to 999
minutes.
3. To set the speed, once again depress the set key and the
speed digits will flash. Using the up, down or side arrow
key will allow you to set the FlexiRoll to the desired
speed.
4. Press the start key once to start operation. By pressing a second time, the unit will
stop.
5. To rapidly increase / decrease the speed and or time settings, depress the up or down
arrow key for 3 seconds.
Note: The timing function is deactivated when the unit is used in continuous mode
(reads "00" in time display).
