deflection devices and/or grass-catching devices
are missing.
• Do not overburden the device. Work only in
the specified power range and do not change
the control settings on the engine. Do not use
low-power machines for heavy work. Do not use
your device for the purposes for which it was not
intended.
• Do not use the device in the vicinity of
flammable liquids or gases. If this is not observed,
there is danger of fire or explosion.
• Never lift or take away the device when the
engine is running.
• Switch off the device and disconnect the power
plug:
- always, when you leave the machine, before
you clean the grass eject-opening or remove the
blockages,
- If the device is not in use,
- before you check, clean or work on the device,
- If the power cord is damaged or has got
tangled,
- If the device has had an impact with a foreign
body or if unusual vibrations occur while
working. Check the device for damage in this
case and get it repaired, if necessary.
• Never allow your hands, feet, face or clothes to
get anywhere near or under the rotating parts.
Do not ever stand in front of the grass ejection
opening while using the lawn mower.
Maintenance and Care:
• Ensure that all nuts, bolts and screws are
tightened firmly and the device is in a safe
working condition.
• Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself
unless you have been trained to do so. All the
work that are not specified in these instructions
may be carried out only by customer service
centres, which are authorized by us.

• Keep the device in a dry place and out of the
reach of children.
• Handle the equipment with care. Keep the tools
sharp and clean, in order to facilitate better and
safer work. Follow the maintenance regulations.
• Wear protective gloves when you change the
cutting device.
• Check the grass catcher device regularly for
wear and distortions. For security reasons,
replace worn or damaged parts. When adjusting
the blades, be especially careful that your fingers
do not get trapped between the rotating blades
and the fixed parts of the machine.
• Verify that only spare cutting tools are used that
have been approved by the manufacturer.
Electrical safety
• Make sure that the mains voltage matches with
the specifications of the type label.
• If possible, connect the equipment only to an
electrical socket with a protective device for
leakage current (ELCB) with a release current of
not more than 30 mA.
• Avoid physical contact with grounded parts (e.g.
metal fences, metal posts).
• Use only approved power cables of type
H05VV-F or H05RNF, which are at least 75 m in
length and are suitable for outdoor use. The
stranded-wire cross sections of the power supply
cable must be at least 1.5 mm
drum completely before use. Check the
cable for damage.
• For fixing the power cable, use the cable
suspension intended for this purpose.
• Keep the power cable away from the cutting
tool, while working. The cutting blades could
damage the power cable and lead to contact
