Death or severe injury due to electric

As the fresh water station is supplied with
power via a plug with earthing contact, N and
L can be reversed by the position of the plug
in the socket. It therefore cannot be guaran-
teed that the power for the high-efficiency
pump supplied by the controller always has
the same polarity. In particular, it is possible
that voltage (L) is present on the neutral con-
ductor (N) marked in blue.
f Connect the cable of the high-efficiency
pump directly to the controller!
NOTICE
Damage to the controller due to excessive
switching currents
f Use appropriate Oventrop high-efficiency
pumps or, if necessary, use the Oventrop
load relay for high switching capacity (see
accessories for fresh water station).
f Establish a direct cable connection from the high-ef-
ficiency pump to the controller.
f Connect the cable as described in section 5.4.1 on
page 23.

6. Commissioning
CAUTION
Development of legionella
Legionella multiply rapidly if the hot water
temperature is too low or if the water is not
exchanged (> 72 h).
f Draw off water at regular intervals so that
a regular exchange of the potable water is
guaranteed and longer stagnation periods
are avoided.
f If no potable water has been drawn off for
more than 72 h, draw off water at all draw
off points for a short time to exchange the
water in the pipework.
f The hot water temperature must not drop
below 60 °C when using a circulation
pipe. The temperature difference between
the hot water outlet of the heat exchanger
and the return of the circulation pipe must
not exceed 5 °C.
6.1 Configuration of the circulation
function
f Configure the circulation function according to the
specifications in the operating instructions of your
fresh water station.

Filling of the circulation pipe

1. Slowly open the isolating ball valve for the circula-
tion return pipe for potable water (hot) (see position
(2) in Illust. 10).
2. Fill the circulation pipe as described under section
"Filling and bleeding of the potable water circuit"
in the operating instructions of your fresh water
station.
3. Check all components and couplings for leaks.
4. Tighten any loose couplings.
5. Connect the fresh water station to the power sup-
ply.
6. Fit the upper shell to the fresh water station.
