1 Ausstattungsmerkmale
Stereo-Mischpult für Tisch- oder 19"-Rack-Einbau mit
schaltbarer, elektronischer Echoeinrichtung (BBD).
Ausgestattet mit 2 Mono-Mikrofon- und 4 Stereo-Ein-
gängen, davon 3 umschaltbar von LINE/TUNER auf
PHONO mit Faderstart und LED-Kontrolle sowie
einem auf MONO umschaltbaren Stereo-Masteraus-
gang.
Weiterhin sind eingebaut:
– 2 x 7stufiger Equalizer in der Stereo-Summe
– Vorhörschaltung
– 5fach-Soundeffekt-Generator
Für den Disco-Betrieb sind folgende Einrichtungen
vorgesehen:
– Eins der zwei möglichen Mono-Mikrofone kann
als DJ-Mikrofon mit Einsprechen (Talkover)
benutzt werden, ein eigener Pegelregler hierfür
ist vorhanden.
– Bei den ersten beiden Plattenspieler-Eingängen
(PHONO 1 und 2) ist zusätzlich zu den normalen
Reglern ein Überblendregler vorhanden.
– Weiterhin können alle drei angeschlossenen Plat-
tenspieler über Reglerkontakte gestartet werden.

1 Features
Stereo mixer for 19" rack installation or to be used as
a table top unit, with switchable, electronic echo cir-
cuit (BBD). Equipped with 2 mono microphone inputs
and 4 stereo inputs, 3 of them switchable from
LINE/TUNER to PHONO with fader start and LED
control as well as a stereo master output switchable
to mono.
Furthermore the mixer is provided with:
– 2 x 7-step equalizer in the stereo output
– pre-fader listening
– 5-way sound effect generator.
For the disco operation the following facilities are
provided:
– One of the two possible mono microphones can
be used as a DJ microphone with talkover, for this
an independent level control is provided.
– For the first two turntable inputs (PHONO 1 and
2), in addition to the standard controls, a crossfa-
der is provided.
– Furthermore all three connected turntables can
be started via fader contacts.
2 Operating Elements and Connections
2.1 Front panel

6 Stereo graphics equalizer, left channel: controls
to boost or attenuate certain sections of the fre-
quency range. In mid-position there is no influ-
ence on the frequency response. In case of
extensive attenuation of the high and low fre-

keine Frequenzgangbeeinflussung statt. Bei star-
ker Baß- und Höhenanhebung ist auf die Belast-
barkeit der an der nachgeschalteten Stereoan-
lage angeschlossenen Lautsprecher besonders
zu achten!

12 Netztaste, einmal gedrückt schaltet das Netz ein,
nochmaliges Drücken schaltet das Pult wieder
aus. Alle Kanalregler sollten auf Minimum stehen,
bevor diese Taste betätigt wird. Dies verhindert
starke Schaltgeräusche, die evtl. das Gehör von
neben den Lautsprechern stehenden Personen
gefährden könnten, zumindest aber die Lautspre-
cher beschädigen könnten.
13 Drucktaste für den Equalizer im Pultausgang, ge-
drückt ist er in Betrieb, nichtgedrückt ist er über-
brückt
14 Fader (Mono) für Mikrofon 1
15 Talkover-Schalter: Umschalter für die Funktion
des Mikros 2 (DJ MIC): in der Stellung MIC arbei-
tet es als normales Mono-Mikrofon wie das
Mikro 1. In der Stellung TALK wird das laufende
Programm um 12 dB abgesenkt.

12 POWER switch, press once for switching on the
mixer, press again, for switching off. All channel
controls should be in minimum position prior to
pressing this button. Thus a strong inrush noise is
prevented which might endanger the hearing of
persons standing near to the speakers but which
could at least damage the speakers.
13 Push-button for the equalizer in the mixer output,
if pressed, it is in operation, if not pressed, it is
bridged
14 Fader (mono) for microphone 1
15 Talkover switch: selector switch for the function of
the microphone 2 (DJ MIC): in position MIC it
works as a normal mono microphone like micro-
phone 1. In position TALK the actual programme
is attenuated by 12 dB.
16 Faders (stereo) for channel 1–4
17 LEDs for the phono fader start
18 Crossfader for fading from channel 1 (PHONO 1)
to channel 2 (PHONO 2) and back

Attention! Never adjust the headphones volume
too high. Permanent high volumes may damage a
person's hearing. The hearing gets accustomed
to high volumes which after some time do not
seem to be so high. Therefore, do not further
increase a high volume after getting used to it.
21 Lautstärkeregler für den Kopfhörer
Vorsicht! Hohe Lautstärken können auf Dauer
das Gehör schädigen. Das menschliche Ohr ge-
wöhnt sich an große Lautstärken und empfindet
sie nach einiger Zeit nicht mehr so hoch. Darum
eine hohe Lautstärke nach der Gewöhnung nicht
weiter erhöhen.

3 Safety Notes
This appliance corresponds to the directive for
electromagnetic compatibility 89/336/EEC and the
low voltage directive 73/23/EEC.
This unit uses dangerous mains voltage (230 V~).
To prevent a shock hazard do not open the cabinet.
Leave servicing to authorized skilled personnel
only. Furthermore, any guarantee claim expires if
the unit has been opened.
