Motor unit

This cooker hood can only be used in
combination with a mechanical ventilation
system, regardless of the brand of motor unit.
Control methods
There are two control methods:
The extraction is regulated with a switch
on the motor unit.
The motor unit is regulated with a switch
on the cooker hood.
The motor unit
The motor unit must be single phase (230 V-
50 Hz) with various speeds. Whichever
method of extraction is selected, it must never
be possible to switch the motor unit off (see
for this only the motor unit manual). The
various possibilities are often given in terms
of: medium or day setting, high or cooking
setting.

Wiring the canopy hood
Once you have decided on the control method
we advise you to draw up a wiring diagram
and then to wire the cooker hood accordingly.

Because of the maximum number of wires per
pipe this method of wiring will limit the
possibilities (supply from above).

Electrical connection
Remove the screening plate (in some
models).
Remove the attached flex and plug if the
ventilation unit is to be operated via the
canopy hood.
Make the electrical connection according
to the wiring diagram you have drawn up.
Fix the phase to clamp L, the neutral to
clamp N, and the switching wires
according to the diagram.
Check all switch functions.
