Support mode
While a battery is being replaced, the battery char-
ger will supply the electrical equipment with power
so that for example a window lift can be operated
meanwhile.
Attention! The reverse polarity battery pro-
tection feature is deactivated in the operating
mode "Charging totally discharged batteries"/
"Support mode".
Connect the charging clips to the correct
terminals of the battery!

Switch off motor
2.
Cut off ignition
3.
Plug in the mains cable of the battery charger -
charging clips are not connected to the battery.
The last selected operating mode is displayed.
4.
Press Start-Stop button (10) for about 5 sec. -
the operating mode „Carging totally discharged
batteries / Support mode" will be activated.
5.
Select the corresponding battery voltage by
pressing the adjusting button "Up" (8) or adju-
sting button "Down" (9):

If you do not press another button within 5 sec.,
the battery charger switches back to the main
menu (select operating mode).

Confirm selected battery voltage by pressing
the Start-Stop button (10)

Connect the charging clips to the correct termi-
nals of the motor vehicle battery!

8.
After the confirmation an inquiry is displayed of
whether the charging clips are connected to the
correct terminals:
Attention! Do not press the Start-Stop button
(10) if the charging clips are connected
incorrectly! Non-observance of this instruction
may damage the battery charger and the
electronic system of the motor vehicle.
9.
When the charging clips are correctly connec-
ted, press the Start-Stop button (10) once again.

11. Replace battery
12. Connect the charging clips of the motor vehicle
to the correct terminals of the new battery
13. To finish the support mode:

Press Start-Stop button (10)

Unplug mains plug
14. Remove charging clips from the pole binders of
the motor vehicle
Automatic / specified voltage selection
This menu point is used for
-
an automatic voltage identification at the start of
charging (factory setting)
-
a specified setting of the battery to be charged
(e.g.: if a special application requires only 12V-
batteries to be charged, the charging voltage is
set to the specified value of 12 V)
1.
Plug in the mains cable of the battery charger -
charging clips are not connected to the battery.
The last selected operating mode is displayed.
2.
Press the Info button (11) for about 5 sec. -
menu point „Automatic / specified voltage
selection" is activated.
3.
Select corresponding voltage selection option
by pressing the Up-Down buttons (8) and (9):
