Note! A successful service charging depends on the
degree of sulphation of the battery.
Attention! The service charging requires the
battery to be disconnected from the electrical
system of the motor vehicle! This prevents the
motor vehicle electronics from being damaged
by the service charging voltage!
Selecting Capacity of battery (Ampere-hour
value Ah)

Press adjusting button "Up" (8) or "Down" (9) to
select ampere-hour value of battery to be char-
ged. E.g.:battery to be charged.
Connecting battery
Attention! However, be sure to connect each
charging clip to the correct battery terminal!
As the charging clips are not alive there is no spar-
king even the battery is connected on the power
supply.

Connect
charging clip (2) to the positive
terminal of the battery

Connect
charging clip (3) to the negative
terminal of the battery - in case of motorcar
supply systems to the bode (e.g. the motor unit)
Identification of battery
6.
Battery charger identifies the connected battery:
Acctiva Professional
6V-battery identified
12V-battery identified
24V-battery identified
Displayed battery voltage differs from the battery
voltage:
-
Press and hold the respective adjusting button
"Up" (8) or "Down" (9) until charging process
starts.

12V-battery identified
24V-battery identified
36V-battery identified
Displayed battery voltage differs from the battery
voltage - the charging process is already started:
-
press Start-Stop button (10) twice
-
press and hold respective adjusting button "Up"
(8) or "Down" (9) until charging process starts.
The battery charger identifies no battery - battery
voltage is smaller than 2 V:
(see chapter: "Charging totally discharged batteries")
-
Indicator remain the same
-
selected operating mode and ampere-hour
value are displayed.
Charging battery
7.
Battery charger starts automatic charging
process
N.B! At the operating mode "Standard charging"
it is possible to run appliances connected to the
battery. Please note that the charge will take
more time in such case.
Final charge
8.
When the battery is 80-85 % full the battery
charger starts with the final charge.
-
The display indicates the fourth bar.
-
Battery is ready for use.
Note! Depending on the type of battery used
the battery charger switches over to compensa-
tion charge after approx. 1-7 hours. Keep the
battery connected to the battery charger until
the battery is charged up to 100 %.
Compensation charge
9.
When the battery is charged up to 100 %, the
battery charger starts with the compensation
charge.
-
All bars are displayed.
-
The battery is 100 % full.
-
At any moment the battery is ready for use.
-
The battery may be connected to the char-
ger as long as you like.
-
The battery charger starts compensation
charge to prevent battery from running
down.
