Before Initial Use

Before using the appliance you must:
• unpack the scope of supply,
• clean the device and accessories.
Unpacking
CAUTION!
• Keep children and animals away from the packaging material. There is a danger of
suffocation!
Take the device out of the packaging and remove all fi lms and stickers that may be
present. Inspect the device for transport damage. If you notice any damage, do not use
it(!), but contact our customer service department.
Cleaning the device and accessories
CAUTION!
• There may be production residues on the device. To avoid harmful effects to your
health, thoroughly clean the device before you use it for the fi rst time.
• Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents for cleaning. These may damage
the device.
• Clean the motor unit with a slightly damp cloth.
• Clean the blade attachment, the shaker and drinking cup and lid with clear, warm
water and a little mild detergent. Allow all parts to dry completely before you store
them away.

Use

CAUTION!
• Danger of injury! The blades are sharp! Be careful when handling the blade attach-
ment in order to prevent any cut injuries.
• Never insert the blade attachment without the shaker and drinking cup into the motor
unit.
• Please note that storing beverages, smoothies etc. in the shaker and drinking cup
will not prolong their expiration date. Beverages made of fresh fruits and vegetables
only have a limited time until they spoil.
