• Use the device only as described in the instructions. Any other
use is deemed to be improper.
• The device is not designed to be operated with an external timer
or a separate remote control system.
• The following are excluded from the warranty: all defects caused by
improper handling, damage or unauthorised attempts at repair. This
also applies to normal wear and tear.

Danger of Injury
• Danger of suffocation! Keep the packaging material away from
children and animals.
• CAUTION! The blades are sharp! Be careful when handling the
blade attachment in order to prevent any cut injuries.
• The device should not be used if it is damaged.
• The device should only be used and stored out of the reach of
children and animals. The mains cable must also be kept out of
their reach. Otherwise they might use the cable to pull the de-
vice down on themselves.
For Your Health
• There may still be some production residues on the device. To
avoid harmful effects to your health, clean it thoroughly before
you fi rst use it (see the "Cleaning and Storage" chapter).
• Clean the device after each use to prevent germ formation (see
the "Cleaning and Storage" chapter). Do not allow any food re-
sidues to dry on.
Danger of Electric Shock and Fire
• Only connect the device to a socket that is properly installed
and matches the technical data of the device (see the "Technical
Data" chapter).
• Position the connecting cable in such a way that it does not become
squashed or bent and does not come into contact with hot surfaces.
