Intended Use

• The device is designed for mixing and chopping up food. The device is also suitable
for whipping cream.
• The device is not suitable for breaking up ice cubes.
• The device is not suitable for hot food or liquids.
• The device and accessories are not microwave-safe.
• The device is for personal use only and is not intended for commercial applications.
• The device should only be used as described in these instructions. Any other use is
deemed to be improper.
• The following are excluded from the warranty: all defects caused by improper han-
dling, damage or unauthorised attempts at repair. This also applies to normal wear
and tear.

Safety Instructions

Danger of Injury from the Device!
This device must not be used by children. The device and its

connecting cable are to be kept away from children.
This device may be used by people with reduced physical, sen-

sory or mental abilities or a lack of experience and/or knowl-
edge if they are supervised or have received instruction on how
to use the device safely and have understood the dangers re-
sulting from this. Children must not play with the device.
Danger of injury due to sharp blades! Never grip a blade at-

tachment by the blades. Hold the plastic housing when you in-
sert or remove an attachment. Be careful among other things
when cleaning the blade attachments.
The device must always be disconnected from the mains power
■
when it is left unattended and before assembling, disassem-
bling or cleaning the device.
The device is not designed to be operated with an external timer
■
or a separate remote control system.
Check the device, the mains cable, the mains plug and all ac-
■
cessories for damage before you use them. If you notice any
damage or in the event of a fault, you must contact the customer
service department. The device must not be used until it has
been repaired as this may result in a malfunction of the device
and can increase the risk of injury.
