Your extractor hood has an incandescent lamp (max. 40 Watt, E 14). The lighting

can be switched on and off independent of the operation of the fan.
The fan in your extractor hood can be set to three stages.

Fan

• Always switch on the fan when starting to cook or roast. Also always open the
glass shield forwards. Thus, the kitchen vapours will be discharged from the
start.
• Operate the fan so long as there are kitchen vapours or steam.
1. Press switch B to turn the fan on.
2. To increase the fan power, select switch B, button 2 (medium) or 3 (high).
3. To switch the fan off, select switch B, button 0.
If the vapours are very heavy, the fan can be operated for a few

minutes after cooking, for optimum extraction/ purification of the air.
Only operate the fan for a fixed period, otherwise unnecessary energy
will be consumed.
