4. Install the carbon filter 5 (not included in the scope of delivery) on the
motor and rotate 90 degrees to attach.
The carbon filter (odour filter) is filled with activated carbon that reduces the
kitchen vapours during cooking. If used regularly, this filter should be replaced at
least every three months. For this, refer to the chapter "Care and maintenance" –
replace carbon filter", P. 17.
During operation, the purified air is discharged into the room through the
ventilation slots on the top of the appliance.

open the filter flap.
2. Set the lever 13 for redirecting the air to 1 and affix the lever.
3. Insert the exhaust air connection 2 into the air discharge apertures of the
extraction hood.
During operation, the air is discharged to atmosphere through the exhaust air
hose.
