7� To Use
1. Attach the Power Cord to the Heating Pad Connector Socket on the pad and then plug the power cord
into a standard AC electrical outlet.
2. Place the heating pad on your body as desired.
CAUTION: Ensure that the heating pad does not bunch up or fold over during use.
3. Press the Power/Control Button on the Controller to activate the heating function; the green LED for
temperature setting "1" will illuminate. Press the Power/Control Button again to increase the tempera-
ture setting; repeat until the desired temperature setting is reached. The next corresponding Tempera-
ture Setting LED will illuminate. The green LED indicates the lowest Temperature Setting, the red LED
indicates the highest/hottest. The heating pad features the following temperature settings (LED colors):
ON / LOW:
Green
WARM:
Yellow
MEDIUM:
Orange
HIGH:
Red
4. To shut off the heating pad, continue pressing the Power/Control Button until all LEDs shut off.
NOTICE
If the unit does not turn on when you press the power button, make sure the Control Connector is securely
plugged into the Heating pad Connector.
WARNING
If the heating pad is being used over several hours, set the lowest temperature setting on the Battery
Pack to avoid overheating the heated body part, which may lead to burns to the skin.
AUTO-OFF FEATURE
Your heating pad is equipped with a special safety feature designed to shut the heating pad off after 120
minutes of use. When the automatic shut-off feature turns the pad off, the red auto-off LED on the controller
will start flashing to let you know the pad has shut off. Press the Power/Control Button to switch the heating
pad back on. Be sure to unplug the unit after use.
NOTICE
After a power outage, the heating pad automatically resets the timer on the auto-off feature.
8� Cleaning and maintenance
WARNING
• Prior to cleaning, always disconnect the Power Cord from the heating pad; otherwise there is a
risk of electric shock and/or product damage.
• Reconnect the heating pad to the Power Cord only after the heating pad and the connector
socket are completely dry.
CAUTION
• To prevent product damage, do not dry clean, bleach, wring out, or iron the product.
• Never immerse the controller in water or other liquids. It may otherwise be damaged.
• Do not use chemical cleaning or scouring agents to clean the heating pad and controller. The
heating pad and controller may otherwise be damaged.
