Thank you for purchasing the LINDY Cat.5 FireWire Extender! The Cat.5 FireWire Extender is
capable of sending FireWire IEEE1394 signals via a Cat.5e/6 cable up to 75 metres, at data
rates of up to 400Mbps.

Extends FireWire peripherals up to 75m using standard Cat.5e or Cat.6 cable.
Supports IEEE 1394.1995, 1394a.2000 and IEEE 1394b-2002 standards

IEEE 1394 standard
The Cat.5 FireWire Extender is optimized to create IEEE1394b-2002 connections over
Cat.5e or Cat.6 cable at 400Mbps, but it can also be used at 200Mbps or 100Mbps, with
slower performing equipment.
Simple plug and play installation requires no additional drivers, and takes just a matter of
minutes
