Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the LINDY USB 2.0 Cat.5 Extender, which is composed of a
Transmitter and Receiver. It enables a USB 2.0 host device to send data up to 100 metres. The
receiver unit has an integrated 4 port hub for connection of multiple USB peripherals.

Installation
1.
Place the local extender near the host computer. Install the supplied USB cable between
the Transmitter and USB port on the host computer.
2.
Connect the supplied 5VDC 1A power adapter to the Transmitter.
3.
Place the Recevier near the USB device in the desired remote location.
4.
Connect the supplied 5VDC 2A power adapter to the Receiver.
5.
Connect the Transmitter and Receiver by using a Cat.5 (or better) cable (not included!).
LED indications
• Red Power LED: The 5V power adapter is plugged in
• Orange Link LED: Transmitter and receiver are powered & connected by Cat.5 cable
• Green Active LED: Receiver´s USB port(s) are occupied
