6 Mounting ED07 pressure regulator
The ED07 pressure regulator must always be fastened to a base plate
(single subbase or base plate for stacking assembly).

Before assembly
O Make sure the relevant system part is not under voltage or pressure.
O Let the ED07 pressure regulator acclimate itself for several hours before
installation, otherwise water may condense in the housing.
Risk due to incorrectly mounted device!
An incorrectly mounted device may result in uncontrolled movements that could
damage other system parts.
O Please ensure that the device is securely fastened to a base plate, which in
turn is secured to the machine or a mounting plate.
O Fasten the base plate in the control cabinet or onto a mounting plate.
Vertical mounting is preferable for the ED07 pressure regulator.

The device can be mounted in any orientation if the compressed air is dry and
oil-free.
Malfunction caused by closed housing ventilation port!
If the housing ventilation port is closed, there is no atmospheric equalization and
the characteristics curve will change.
O Ensure that the air can circulate freely through the housing ventilation port (6).
O Never operate the device in an atmosphere containing oil.

Mounting the ED07 pressure regulator on the base plate
The base plate has a coding pin (38), which fits into the matching coding boring (8)
of the ED07 pressure regulator. Correct assembly is thus ensured.

Some base plates have two coding pins. For this reason, there is a second
coding boring on the same side of the ED07 pressure regulator. There is no
risk of confusion.

Connecting the supply voltage, set point, and external sensor
Danger of injury due to the failure of the external sensor on connection X2M!
The pressure regulator opens fully. The maximum permissible pressure in the
system may be exceeded. Severe injuries are possible.
If you use an external sensor:
O Always install safety equipment that monitors the function of the external
sensor on connection X2M.
O Before installation, ensure that the housing
ventilation port (6) is open and not, for example,
painted shut.

1. Insert the gasket (11) on the underside of the ED07
pressure regulator so that the three pneumatic
openings are not covered.
2. Apply slight pressure to the gasket so that it attaches
to the three fixing pins (9).
The three fixing pins ensure that the gasket sits

correctly on the contours of the pneumatic openings.
1. Rotate the ED07 pressure regulator so that the
coding pin (38) and coding boring (8) are on the same
side and can engage with each other.

2. Place the ED07 pressure regulator on the base plate.
When you do so, make sure the gasket does not shift.
The base plate coding pin fits into with the coding

boring on the ED07 pressure regulator.
1. Insert the four M5x90 screws into the four holes as
shown in the figure and screw tight.
Tightening torque: 6 Nm
2. Make sure again that the gasket and the housing
gasket (12) sit properly in order to ensure the IP65
protection class.
The gasket and housing gasket may not overlap on
the side.
