the drive shaft and pull the drive sprocket and the two washers off the drive shaft. If necessary use a
penetrating lubricant. After that slide the parts included in the rebuild set onto the drive shaft and secure them
with the springring.
Starting and stopping the prunner
1>To start the tool: press the lock button (6) and then press the trigger (24). Release the lock button once the
motor has started.
2>To stop the trimmer: Release the trigger.
3>Rotate this handle joint(36),you can take off the handle.
4>Push the button(34),you can make the handle up and down.
5>Push the battery lock button (39) can take the battery out
WARNING:
Do not connect to power supply until assembly is complete, Failure to comply could result in accidental starting and
possible serious personal injury.
Changing of the Saw Chain
ATTENTION: Always pull the power plug before undertaking any maintenance work.
The saw chain is full of sharp edges. When handling it you should always weargloves.
1>Slacken the chain until it hangs loose by inserting the includedcombination tool into the head screw of
the chain tensioner.
2> Turn thescrew counter-clockwise until the chain is very loose.
3>Next dismount the blackplastic cover. Unscrew the hex nut (22),and take out the spring washer(23).
Take off theplastic cover(3) and lift chain and guide bar off the unit. After dismounting guidebar and chain lift
the chain off the guide bar and set it aside.
Improtant Notes: Clean oil and sawdust out of the area under the plastic cover with a brush of
blow it out withcompressed air.Be especially sure to clean out the oil duct.
Clean the groove of the guide bar with a suitable tool of blow it out withcompressed air. Take special care
to clean the oil ducts in the guide bar.Inspect the chain guides for wear and if necessary carefully smooth them
witha file and emery cloth. If the guide bar is at some point worn beyond repair itmust be replaced with a new
