UNPACKING
This product has been shipped completely assembled.
1> Carefully remove the items from the box. Make sure that all items listed in the packing list are include.
2> Inspect the product carefully to make sure no breakage or damage occurred during shipping
3> Do not discard the packing material until you have carefully inspected andsatisfactorily operated the tool.
Do not operate the tool until the parts have been replaced or the fault has been rectified . Failure to do so could
result in serious personal injury。

WARNING
Always ensure the front handle (25) is fitted to the shaft
whenever you operate this tool。
Adjusting the cutting length
1>Lift the knob(16) on the coupler。
2> Pull the lower shaft till it in a comfortable postion。
3> Tighten the knob securely。

WARNING
1> If the button does not release completely in the positioning hole, the shafts are not locked into
place. Slightly rotate from side to side until the button is locked into place.
2>Be certain the knob is fully tightened before operating equipmentl check it periodically for tightness during
use to avoid serious personal injury.
Assemble the chain and chain bar.
1>Lay the chain into the groove. Observe the correct cutting direction. There are directional arrows on the
chain, which must correspond with the arrows on the housing.
2>Mount chain and guide bar. Lay the chain around the drive sprocket and set the guide bar down onto
the unit. Make sure the chain tensioner snaps into the hole in the guide bar
3>Remount the plastic cover and tension the chain. Liberally oil it with chainsaw oil and let the chain run
for a few moments.
After that check the chain tension, if necessary adjust it.How to adjust it please refer to the Chain
Tension chapter on next page.
After every second chain worn out, the drive sprocket should be changed. A set of two saw chains and
one drive sprocket is available from the Herstella. To change the drive sprocket, remove the spring ring from
