5.1 Cleaning, maintenance and
storage
5.1.1 WARNING! Only clean the equip-
ment whilst disconnect from the vehi-
cle's OBD-II jack!
5.1.2 Clean the equipment with a dry
cloth. Do not use liquids or harsh clea-
ners. The equipment could otherwise
be damaged! Prevent liquids from en-
tering the equipment! Never immerse
the equipment in liquids! Only operate
the equipment whilst dry!
5.1.3 Only keep / store the equipment
in dry environments! Moisture may
damage equipment electronics!
5.1.4 Do not expose the equipment to
high temperatures, as these may
shorten the life of electronics. Further,
Plastic parts could deform or melt.
5.1.5 Do not expose the equipment to
extreme temperature fluctuations! Res-
sulting condensation may damage the
electronics!
