2.1.14 Only use the equipment in safe
environments!
2.1.15 Check the equipment for da-
mage before every use. Be sure the
contacts (pins) are not bent. Do not
use faulty equipment!
2.1.16 Check the equipment for dirt
before every use. If dirty, clean the
equipment before use.
2.1.17 Ensure a tidy environment,
safety and adequate lighting when
connecting the equipment to the
vehicle's OBD-II jack.
2.1.18 Only run the vehicle engine in a
well-ventilated environment. Engine
exhaust is toxic! ATTENTION – risk of
death!
2.1.19 Do not use other instruments
when the equipment is installed in the
vehicle.
2.1.20 Before deleting the error from
the memory of the engine control
unit all the indicated errors should be
corrected. Deleting the error code will
not correct the engine error or defect!
The error messages may reappear and
the problem may become more severe
due to additional error messages.
Not performing the necessary repairs
can be dangerous and / or expensive.
Thus always have the indicated defects
and errors checked and repaired by
a service centre!
2.1.21 Do not adjust the equipment or
OBD-II app whilst driving, as this may
distract and subsequently result in
accidents, serious injuries or death!
ATTENTION – risk of death! Always pay
full attention to traffic to ensure safe
travel!
2.1.22 This equipment features class 1
LEDs. Do not direct the LED beam at
the eyes of persons or animals!
